Good Bye Winter Hello Spring

Well, I think I am ready to put winter behind me(actually I have been ready since the day after Christmas) and welcome Spring. I have sit down many times to post since January but I just couldn't make myself post, kinda like my mind wouldn't except winter. Here are a few pictures from winter...

We have had a long winter but just 5 more days till it is officially SPRING! I walked around the house yesterday and here are a few pictures of signs of spring...

 

I can't wait to see thing grow. I think as we get older we appreciate spring more!

12-12-12 I just had to put up a post for today! I just like the way it sounds...   12-12-12  won't ever be able to say that again after today. Oh well back to the main subject, 13 more days till Christmas, wouldn't it have been neat if it was 12 more day till Christmas on 12-12-12! Just had to add that!

Today is the last day of November. The count down has begun...

 

actually its 25 days to Santa, this picture was taken a few days ago. I made this one for me and I made a Santa one for Drew. I will post a picture of it soon.

Fall 2012

Well fall has just about come and gone again! I hate to see it go, it comes so fast and goes to fast. There is this really big tree in our back yard that I love but Richard hates...

 

 

this picture was taken after he had already cleared the leaves a couple of times. He hates the clearing part but the part he hates most is this part...

 

 

I don't know why it looks like fun to me. I think we can put up with a little work to be able to enjoy such beauty that fall brings us. There's beauty and then don't forget the fun...

 

 

can you find Drew in the second picture? This year Richard had a little help from Mother Nature, remember the storm Sandy? This is what our yard looked like the next day...

 

 

wonderful for us but the neighbors down the street wasn't to happy they got our leaves!
